Fibber McGee's Bar & Grill ****

As Irish as it gets, Fibber's offers a noticable step-up in service and quality from its nearby rivals the second you walk through the doors. Like other surrounding restaurants, the fight for local students' patronage is obvious, and were I to choose, this bar & grill is thus far my favorite in the Beverly area as far as bar and grills go.

For that New England bar feel, get yourself a bucket of fish-n-chips or a good juicy steak for a happy, but casual night out.

Ambience: Casual, Pub

The Bad:

Graffitti'd bathroom (but I guess most men's bathrooms are in such places)

The Good:

Youthful energy provided by local college students - if you enjoy that

Friendly wait staff, knowledgeable and accommodating as though you've been there before

Best chicken wings (try their Tuesday night chicken wings special) in town

Price Range: entrees range from $10 - $16

Date Rate: Keep it casual or best as part of a group

Overall Value: 4 Stars!
